Spanish Panda

0 min read
So..evidently pandas aren't originally from China at all! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/10/giant-panda-agriarctos-beatrix-spain_n_1507238.html If you don't want to read the article, evidently fossil remains of the Giant Panda's ancestor, Agriarctos Beatrix, have been found in Spain, and ONLY in Spain, particularly one providence, showing that they didn't roam from that area. So, pandas are actually Spanish in origin, which is awesome to me because I have a LOT of Spaniard blood. Also, these bears evidently only weighed up to 130 pounds. That's smaller than a lot of dogs, people, particularly considering their stocky, compact build.

So...I do this weird thing sometimes that has been showing up more and more often of late. For some reason, an accent will show up out of nowhere when I speak. Now, if it was a Texan accent that'd be fairly normal, though I don't usually have one...I am from Texas, after all. But no, for some reason I'll end up using the accent of countries I've never been to without meaning to! For example, I seem to adopt an Irish dialect when I say the words "da" "grandda" "daft" or anything like that, and those words will just randomly pop into my speech when I mean to say "Dad" "granddad" or "crazy". It's weird. It's usually an Irish, Scottish or English
